Sadness The
fears of uncertainty opens the door to anxiety and sadness. These two
ingredients have taken a toll on individuals regardless of age,
religion or social status. Sadness eventually leads to various stages of
depression - sometimes a mild case, but can lead to a more severe case
if we do not get to the root of the cause. The cause may very in each
individual, but the main root is non-fulfillment or a series of life
disappointments. Emotional- Word
that comes to mind is "Roller coaster" Life can control us or we
can control life to a certain point - I cannot and will not tell you we
are in control of everything in our life, but for the most part, we are!
Our mind is a battlefield - The mind is where everything begins and ends
- Colossians 3:15
I let the peace of God rule in my heart and mind and I am thankful to
God in all things. Medical- most physicians would
diagnose this as Bi-polar - Reality - we all have a mild case of Bi-polarism...
There is not a living soul that has not experienced sadness or ups and
downs at some point in their lives - Not one human alive! Physical
- Sometimes an illness or handicap can bring on a case of sadness
or depression - When physically challenged, we must grasp the reality
and learn to live with it the best we can - We were created to be
resilient people... I can say this from great experience - I was
born with a congenital heart defect - I was born with a single ventricle
that back in my time, there was little hope of survival - but God had
the final say and allowed me to remain on earth to bring this message to
you today.... Spiritual - I can do all things through Christ Jesus who
strengthens me
Philippians 4:13

Romans 12:1-2

acceptable to You, which is my spiritual service of worship. I
will not be conformed to this world, but transformed by the
renewing of my mind, that I may prove what the will of God is.
I Corinthians 2:16
I have the mind of Christ; therefore I can know the thoughts of
my Lord that He may instruct me.

and holiness of the truth.
II Timothy 1:7

have a spirit of power, a spirit of love and a spirit of a

produces Godly thoughts.
I Corinthians 13:7

dismayed. God’s Word will never stop being spoken out of my
mouth, for I meditate on the Word of God day and night and I am
careful to do all that God commands, therefore success and
prosperity are mine now!
Isaiah 54:14, 17

Confidence
I
refuse to throw away my confidence no matter what I see.
I will not allow what I see to discourage me.
I will not allow what I see to pull me down and to make me throw away my
confidence.
I make a decision that I will not throw away my confidence, because my
confidence has a great reward. (Hebrews 10:35)
It may take a while, but I have patience. For in a little while, what He
promised will manifest because I am the just, and I live by faith and
because I live by faith, I will not shrink back. Because when I shrink
back, God has no pleasure in me and my number one goal is to be pleasing
to God. (Hebrews 10:38)
I maintain, therefore, an attitude of faith, a spirit of faith, a
position of faith that is always pleasing to God. And, therefore, the
manifestation will come; because I maintain my position of pleasing God
by using my faith and holding fast to my confession and never letting it
go. (Hebrews 11:6)
I will not draw back.
I will not shrink back, but I will have faith until the end, until the
outcome, until what I believe is what I see. If I don’t see it, that
won’t change what I believe. Because the reason I’m believing is
first and foremost to be pleasing to God, then to see the manifestation.
The manifestation will come when I’m pleasing to God. And I choose to
hold fast to faith, to confidence in this Word, and I will not let go.
I will not give up.
I will not let go of my confession no matter what I see, no matter what
I feel, no matter what other people say or do, no matter how many people
shrink back.
A thousand may fall on my side and ten thousand at my right hand, but it
shall not approach me. It’s not coming near my dwelling place because
I’m holding fast to my confession. (Psalm 91:7) |
